{"id":10553,"date":"2015-07-13T16:01:45","date_gmt":"2015-07-13T14:01:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.arefinternational.org\/?page_id=10553"},"modified":"2017-02-20T13:03:23","modified_gmt":"2017-02-20T12:03:23","slug":"start-a-long-distance-support","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.arefinternational.org\/en\/get-involved\/start-a-long-distance-support\/","title":{"rendered":"Start a Long Distance Support"},"content":{"rendered":"<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Long Distance Support<\/p>\n<p>is one of the actions promoted by Aref International.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">By this term we intend a solidarity action to be performed by a periodical economic contribution by the Sponsor by which the Association provides for the subsistence, school, medical assistance and economic development of a person or of a group of persons.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Sponsorship has no juridical or social value but it has the aim to help economically one or more persons (also persons of age) for a particular project. In the case of \u201cadozione a distanza\u201d (adoption) there couldn\u2019t be any relationship at all between the parties. That\u2019s why many associations and also the Italian authorities (such as\u00a0the <a title=\"Commissione adozioni internazionali\" href=\"http:\/\/it.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Commissione_adozioni_internazionali\">Commissione adozioni internazionali<\/a>, la <a title=\"Presidente del Consiglio dei Ministri\" href=\"http:\/\/it.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Presidente_del_Consiglio_dei_Ministri\">Presidenza del Consiglio dei ministri<\/a>, il <a title=\"Dipartimento per i Diritti e le Pari Opportunit\u00e0\" href=\"http:\/\/it.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Dipartimento_per_i_Diritti_e_le_Pari_Opportunit%C3%A0\">Ministero per le Pari Opportunit\u00e0<\/a>) are no more using the term \u201cadozione a distanza\u201d and prefer \u201csostegno a distanza\u201d (long distance support) in order to avoid any confusion between two completely different juridical concepts.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As regards Aref International\u2019s policy there\u2019s an active and liable involvement between sponsor and sponsored, always respecting the privacy and safeguarding the\u00a0 reciprocal protection.
